As an active athlete living and training on the island I contributed to create an image of Hvar island as a healthy and active-friendly holiday destination.
My Story
When athletes usually end their sport career, at he age of 36, I started mine. From a 2.5 km jog after work, I found myself in Hawaii for the IRONMAN world championship in just three years.
Without being specifically talented for any sport in particular, endurance sports gave you the possibility cover talent with determination, self confidence and persistency.
Mixing it up with a good plan and time management, everything was possible.

2019 -best time for non-professionals in an Ironman race (8:57) IRONMAN ITALY
2022 & 2024 – Marathon personal Best 2h:55:03 & Half Marathon 1:19:45
2022 & 2024 – B-Hard ultracycling race trough Bosnia. Overall Winner

WIEN: The unknown race TURNo2
Kicking off the 2024 ultracycling season, I faced the Unknown Race starting from Wien in harsh winter conditions. Battling frigid temperatures of minus 4 degrees Celsius and snow, this challenge tested my resilience. Thanks to my new clothing gear from AGU (www.agu.com), I was able to stay warm and safe throughout the event, allowing me to perform exceptionally well despite the extreme weather. The race set a strong tone for the season ahead.

GERMANY, BLACK FOREST: Mittelgebirge Classique
The second event of my season was the Mittelsgebirge Classique, which provided a valuable opportunity to experiment with gear settings. Although the adjustments didn’t yield the best results, this race was not solely about performance; it served as an essential learning experience. The challenging course and stunning scenery made it a memorable milestone on my journey towards the main event of the season: the Transcontinental Race.

BOSNIA & HERCEGOVINA: B-Hard
After feeling a bit down about my performance at the Mittelsgebirge Classique, I decided to participate in the B-Hard race in Bosnia, a race I had previously won in 2020 and 2022. Approaching it as a preparation event, I quickly recognized an opportunity to compete for victory. Seizing the moment, I pushed myself and ultimately secured the win. This triumph provided a significant boost of confidence as I geared up for the major challenge ahead in the Transcontinental Race!

EUROPE-ASIA: The Transcontinental race #10
The highlight of my 2024 ultracycling season arrived with the Transcontinental Race, an exhilarating 11-day adventure covering 4,010 kilometers and climbing 42,000 meters of elevation. I felt satisfied with my performance throughout this grueling challenge, which pushed my limits both physically and mentally. The experience left me craving more, igniting an addiction to the sport, and I can’t wait to return in 2025, richer in experience and even more determined to tackle the journey ahead!
